EXCEL-O-TONE
Circuit bent Excel-o-Tone keyboard. This original keyboard was a knock-off of the Casio VL-1, but it lacked the different voices and features of the VL-1 with the most noticeable difference being the lack of the calculator.
The circuit bending of this keyboard was a tedious task as the keyboard tended to crash completely for most of the bends. The two working bends are a tempo bend and what I call a "tinny" sounding bend. The two bends are controlled by potentiometers and can be turned on and off via the switches.
The original white keyboard was painted a Microsoft Excel 'green' with the keys simulating the cells of the spreadsheet.
